Not the rb26, but having them pick out a good car from the junkyard (sporty, classic, muscle?), give him a budget, and have HIM rebuild it just in time to get his license. I will buy all the parts and even HELP install them if he wants, but he has to be in charge of the workplan/budget. It teaches... 1. How to work on a car 2. How to manage money 3. How to appreciate his own hard work 4. How to say no to his friends who want to drive it because he won't want his hard earned car ruined by some kid who did not make any sacrifices to drive such a nice car.
